  • Step 1

    Eligibility Check

    • Must be a registered business and provide your Business GST/HST number upon application.
    • Accounts must achieve a minimum of CAD 3,000 in annual sales with WestJet Cargo, including freight and surcharges.
  • Step 2

    Trade References

    • Provide three trade references from companies that have extended credit terms to you. Positive credit feedback is required. 
    • CASS/IATA members are exempt from this requirement.
  • Step 3

    Application Submission

    • Complete the credit application and email it to -  cargosales@westjet.com
    • A representative will reach out within 24 hours.
    • US based account are required to submit W9 tax forms.

  • Invoices  are sent according to the terms of the account holder. 
  • Payments is due according to the terms of the account holder. 
  • Delinquent accounts will be put on hold and may incur an administration fee and/or interest.
  • Interest Payable: An interest rate of 18% per annum (1.5% monthly) will be assessed on all overdue accounts.

  • An annual review of all WestJet Cargo accounts is completed for the previous calendar year's activity to determine your account complies with WestJet Cargo’s terms and conditions
  • Should the revenue not meet our minimum requirements or no activity on your account for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months, the account may be cancelled without notice
  • WestJet Cargo reserves the right to change any terms and conditions without notice
  • USA Accounts: TSA Regulations have a mandatory requirement that all credit applications from the United States must provide their TSA registration number or complete a KSMS application form to apply to the TSA to register their company. Accounts will be opened only to those companies who are registered with the TSA
  • Termination or refusal: WestJet Cargo and its affiliates have the right to refuse or terminate any credit account or this agreement forthwith, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice.

Discrepancies: Any discrepancy in billing must be reported within 30 days of receipt of invoice by contacting WestJet Cargo’s accounting office at:
