Frequently asked questions
The maximum booking window is within 30 days of flight departure, the ideal window is within 2 weeks, but depending on space and ensuring all documentation is in order we may be able to accommodate up to 1 day prior to departure.

- Plan to deliver your motorcycle a minimum of 6 hours prior to your bike's flight departure (our team will advise you of your actual tender time at time of booking)
- Dangerous Goods Declaration (see required documentation question below)
- Ensure the gas tank is no more than a quarter full (25%)
- Disable the alarm (if applicable)
- Disable GPS (if applicable)
- If batteries are disconnected for any reason, the battery must remain in its specified stowage position and orientation
- Ensure you leave a set of keys with us when you drop off
- The bike must be clean (not covered in mud and other organic material)
- Panniers (kit bags, side bags) are allowed and must be attached and secured to the bike. Riding gear and basic tools can travel in the panniers/bags. No additional oils, aerosols or tools with lithium batteries can travel in the panniers or side bags
- For domestic, trans-border and international movements - we require a Dangerous Goods Declaration from a regulated Dangerous Goods Specialist. If the Dangerous Goods Declaration from a regulated Dangerous Goods specialist is sent by email, you must be able to have it printed in color prior to arriving at the warehouse (the Dangerous Goods Specialist will advise number of copies to be printed)
- Should any additional documentation be required such as Carnet De Passage, proof of ownership, insurance, etc., the freight forwarder agent you are working with will provide more information
- Additional government regulations may apply and can vary based on international locations, however this information will be advised by your forwarding agents
Your bike will not be delivered to the baggage carousel as it will be moving as “Manifested Cargo” and is therefore handled differently. Your freight forwarding agent will advise you where to retrieve your bike upon arrival to complete all customs formalities. They will also advise you of any other additional fees that may be required at destination.
